Embracing the era of Peace and Love

Welcome to the Love Not Riots Website.  Started in 2006 this movement was created by festival fans to promote and maintain safety and the festival communities wellbeing and enjoyment.

Just under 2 years and 7 festivals later, we are still going strong and are as determined as ever to keep promoting our message throughout the festival communities.  With 1000’s of hits a month and the support growing daily we decided to show our thanks to supporters with a more professional and informative website.  A place for both new and old supporters to get the latest music news, learn about the campaign, Submit and read band, venue and event reviews and to have information about yours and others safety at your fingertips!  After all Having Fun while Keeping Safe is what this campaign is all about.

Love Not Riots was and will always be a FAN BASED MOVEMENT.  The Campaign has no intentions of selling out or becoming part of the corporate machine.  We join forces with various festival organisers as our means of being able to promote our message at the relevant events, this does not mean that the campaign becomes a part of the event company, it always remains a fan operated organisation.  As such we welcome any suggestions and comments, good or bad!  This is YOUR campaign and you have every right to have your say.  If you think this website needs something or something should change, or you have an idea on how Love Not Riots can work better, please contact us.  We will respond to everybody, even if it takes us a little while.
